About domlur
Domlur, previously known as Bhagat Singh Nagar is a small locality situated in East Bangalore. It is still a mystery how the name Domlur was coined for the place. Some people say it is named after a flower called ‘Tombalur’ used to worship Lord Shiva. The theory is also fully supported by the inscriptions found in Chokkanathaswamy temple in the locality constructed by Cholas.
